Members have access to the buying power of GSB Supplycorp (formerly Government Stores Board) to purchase a vast variety of goods - every thing from vehicles to stationery.

Continuous Medical Education (CME)
The Northern Rural General Practice Consortium (NRGPC) as an accredited CME provider, providing an ongoing CME calendar of education.

CME involves activities designed to enhance General Practitioners knowledge, skills, attitude and judgment so as to improve the healthcare that they provide for patients.

General Practitioners are accredited 2 credits per hour of training through the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP). Practice Nurse’s are provided with a certificate of attendance from the NRGPC

The learning strategy involves:

.	Identification of actual learning needs.
.	Learning needs being addressed in the most time and cost effective manner.
.	The knowledge obtained being based on the best available evidence.
.	New knowledge being applied to produce improvement in the clinical setting.

A number of General Practitioners and Practice Nurses will be selected to receive sponsorship from the NRGPC to attend one of the below listed Conferences which are held outside the Northland region.
1. NZNO Practice Nurse Conference
2. Combined Rural General Practice Network /NZNO Conference
3. NZ Royal College of General Practitioners Conference
4. New Zealand Medical Association Conference
